How to Apply

All Boston students are welcome to choose the Muñiz Academy through theBPS assignment process. Students applying for grades 9 to 12 must take part in:
- a Spanish language screening and
- an in-person consultation regarding participation in a dual language program, expectations, and goals for a dual language high school program of studies.
Admissions priority will be given to students who graduate from BPS dual language middle schools including the Hurley K-8 School, the Sarah Greenwood K-8 School, and the Rafael Hernández K-8 School. Given the nature of their dual language programs these students are exempt from this screening and consultation in the first year of enrollment (2012-13) for Muñiz Academy.
Language screening sessions for students and individual family meetings will be held at the Hernández School at 61 School Street in Roxbury after students are assigned to the Academy. The entire process will take one hour. We will confirm your participation by letter and phone call.
